Circuit Description
ECM determines exact position of throttle valve with the use of 2 independent oppositely scaled sensors. This DTC is associated with range check. If either sensor signal exceeds the upper or lower limit for a short period of time, DTC will set. This indicates that throttle valve is out of acceptable position range. The ECM will request temporary safety fuel deactivation and vehicle enters into a limp home mode state. Normal throttle operation may resume after a fault is recorded, in which case vehicle is returned to its normal drive mode.
