Circuit Description
ECM determines the exact position of the throttle valve using 2 independent oppositely scaled sensors. Signal from TP sensor No. 1 is amplified in the ECM to attain higher resolution and a more precise potentiometer reading. If amplification value is less than 3.99 percent or greater than 4.32 volts, or offset value is less than -0.1 volt or greater than 0.1 volt, then signal is not amplified. Vehicle will then operate without high potentiometer resolution and will set this DTC.
