Clutch Assembly: Installation
- Install and hand tighten NEW flywheel- to-crankshaft bolts. Tighten bolts in crisscross pattern. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS
. Install clutch disc and pressure plate assembly onto flywheel, and hand tighten pressure plate bolts. Install clutch alignment arbor into clutch disc, and push in until it bottoms out in crankshaft. SeeFig 1

- Tighten bolts one turn at a time using a progressive crisscross pattern to prevent warping of clutch assembly. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS
. Remove clutch alignment arbor from clutch disc.
- Lightly lubricate input shaft splines with Clutch Spline Lubricant (21005995). Excessive amounts of lubricant on input shaft splines can contaminate clutch disc, and cause clutch shudder. To complete installation, reverse removal procedure. Tighten all fasteners to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS
