Diagnostic Aids

An intermittent open or short in harness will cause DTC to set. Intermittent conditions can be detected by using scan tool and observing the purge feedback status. Status should be HIGH when solenoid is commanded off and LOW when solenoid is commanded on. Ensure terminal connections are tight. Solenoid resistance should be 19-31 ohms. Check EMISS fuse in underhood fuse block.
