BTSI Solenoid: Removal
- Disable SIR system. See AIR BAG DEACTIVATION PROCEDURES article in GENERAL INFORMATION. Remove console. See FLOOR CONSOLE . Disconnect BTSI solenoid harness connector.
- Using a screw driver, disconnect the plastic retainers at solenoid base and at the park lock lever. Remove solenoid from shifter assembly. See Figure .
