Auto Learn Method
NOTE:
Auto learn method takes 30 minutes to perform.
- Check BCM and PCM for existing DTCs. If DTCs exist, repair as necessary and go to next step. If no DTCs exist, go to next step.
- Turn ignition switch to RUN position. Momentarily rotate ignition switch to START position. DO NOT start vehicle. Wait 10 minutes. When SECURITY indicator light changes from a flashing or on state to an off state, turn ignition switch to OFF position. Perform this process 3 times. After third time, vehicle should start on next ignition cycle.
NOTE:
If ignition switch is turned to OFF position before SECURITY indicator light changes state, relearn procedure must be restarted.
