DTC B1000: Ecu Malfunction

  1. Turn ignition off. Wait 10 seconds. Turn ignition on. Using scan tool, monitor current DTCs. If DTC B1000 displays as a current DTC, go to next step. If DTC B1000 does not display as a current DTC, problem is intermittent.
  2. Replace Body Control Module (BCM). See BODY CONTROL MODULE (BCM)  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Retest operation.
