DTC C0113: Pump Motor Circuit High

  1. Turn ignition off. Disconnect EBTCM harness connector. Check resistance between a known-good ground and EBTCM harness connector terminal No. 12 (Black wire). If resistance is less than 2 ohms, go to next step. If resistance is not less than 2 ohms, repair open or high resistance in circuit.
  2. Turn ignition on. Check voltage between a known-good ground and EBTCM harness connector terminal No. 12 (Black wire). If voltage is not present, go to next step. If voltage is present, repair short to voltage in circuit.
  3. Remove EBTCM. Check EBTCM and BPMV connector for damage, corrosion or poor terminal contact. If a problem is found, replace BPMV or EBTCM as necessary. If no problem is found, go to next step.
  4. Check for presence for brake fluid in connectors. If brake fluid is present, replace EBTCM and BPMV. If no brake fluid is present, go to next step.
  5. Check continuity between BPMV pump motor terminals and pump motor case. If continuity does not exist, replace EBTCM. If continuity exists, replace BPMV and EBTCM.
