Park Lock Cable

The gearshift lever is locked in the Park position when ignition switch is in the LOCK position. When ignition switch is turned to the ON position, the gearshift lever is allowed movement to the desired position by the park lock cable. The ignition key cannot be removed until the gearshift lever is returned to the Park position.
