STOPLAMP Switch: Installation

  1. Position stoplamp switch to vehicle and install nut. Tighten nut to 89 INCH lbs. (10 N.m).
    NOTE: There is a tab on the stoplamp switch that fits into a slotted hole. This tab keeps the stoplamp switch parallel to the brake pedal. Before tightening the bolt, ensure the plunger is fully depressed with the brake pedal released.
  2. Connect the stoplamp switch connector. See Fig 1 . Adjust switch. See STOPLAMP SWITCH  under ADJUSTMENTS.
