Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes

Current DTCs clear when ignition is turned off. History DTCs will clear after 100 ignition cycles if fault does not reoccur. Both types of DTCs can be cleared with a scan tool. Disconnecting battery or power to ABS control unit will clear current DTCs, but has no effect on history DTCs.
