Most probable cause for DTC is contamination. Check for obvious contamination (oil, fuel or engine coolant) by removing sensor. Identify and correct cause if contaminated. Replace O2S1 sensor.

An intermittent open in signal or ground wire, as well as an inactive sensor, will not set this DTC.
