Diagnostic Aids

Check for O2S contamination due to fuel, improper use of RTV sealant, engine oil or coolant. Repair source of contamination before replace sensor.

An intermittent connection or corrosion in O2S1 connector can set this DTC. Use scan tool to monitor O2S1 voltage with engine running at normal operating temperature while wiggling signal and ground wires. Make sure sensor is tight.
