DTC P0217: ECT Sensor Circuit Over Temperature: Description

Temperature light on instrument panel will illuminate if engine overheats. DTC will set when Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) is more than 244°F (118°C) and no other ECT sensor DTCs are present. The A/C will also be turned off when ECT is more than 248°F (120°C), to protect engine and transaxle.
