Code Enable Criteria

• Engine running more than 200 seconds.
• Engine speed 2350-3000 RPM (M/T) or 1800-2300 (A/T).
• TP angle 22-40 percent (M/T) or 8-15 percent (A/T).
• ECT more than 158°F (70°C).
• Fuel level is more than 10 percent.
• Evaporative purge is commanded to 80 percent or greater.
• System in closed-loop mode.
• No CKP, ECT, EVAP, fuel injector, fuel tank pressure, fuel trim or TP DTCs are set.

DTC sets when the number of rich-to-lean counts are less than one (A/T) or 2 (M/T), or lean-to-rich counts are less than one within 30 second test period.
