Control Assembly: Installation
- Install control assembly into vehicle and install control assembly-to-floor pan bolts. See Fig 3
. Tighten control assembly to floor pan bolts to 71 INCH lbs. (8 N.m).
- Connect control assembly electrical connectors. See Fig 2
. Connect control cable to pin on control assembly. Secure control cable into control assembly by pushing into place.
- Install control cable retaining clip. See Fig 1
. Install console. See FLOOR CONSOLE
. Enable the SIR system. See AIR BAG DEACTIVATION PROCEDURES article in GENERAL INFORMATION.
