DTC P1519: Throttle Actuator Control (TAC) Module: Description
Throttle control module contains a throttle control motor, 2 Throttle Position (TP) sensors, and 2 independent signal circuits that vary resistance according to changes in throttle plate position. ECM will go through a throttle position learn procedure to determine acceptable values for throttle plate position operating range. This is based on inputs from TP sensor No. 1 and TP sensor No. 2 and feedback from throttle control motor. DTC sets when throttle control motor driver, internal to ECM, shuts off for internal protection for a length of time.
- Commanded and actual throttle position is not in agreement.
- Condition exists for more than 0.5 second.
