Park Lock Switch: Removal
- Disable the SIR system. See AIR BAG DEACTIVATION PROCEDURES article in GENERAL INFORMATION. Remove automatic transaxle control assembly. See CONTROL ASSEMBLY .
- Using an electrical terminal pick, remove shift lock control solenoid electrical terminals (Black wires) from connector body. See Figure . Move control assembly out of Park position and remove park lock switch by depressing switch retaining tabs. Remove park lock switch connector body from control assembly, and remove switch assembly. See Figure .
