DTC Parameters

• 9 in. H2O initially pulled on fuel tank.
• EVAP purge solenoid is commanded on (fixed PWM).
• EVAP vent solenoid is commanded off (open).
• Engine run time less than 2 minutes 24 seconds.
• Fuel tank level 15-85 percent full.
• BARO greater than 81 kPa.
• Ignition voltage 11-18 volts.
• ECT and IAT at start-up between 41-90°F (5-32°C).
• ECT and IAT within 50°F.
• No ECT, fuel tank pressure, IAT, MAP or VSS DTCs set.

DTC sets when EVAP system has reached 12 inches of water or greater for greater than 1.6 seconds, indicating a blocked vent system.

DTC diagnostic is run once during EVAP diagnostic test for a maximum of 96 seconds once enable criteria has been met. DTC diagnostic may also run during initial key-up. Diagnostic runs at this time only when strict operating parameters have been met.
