Front Toe Adjustment

IMPORTANT: When performing the toe adjustment, the steering wheel must be locked in the straight ahead position.
  1. Lock steering wheel in the straight ahead position.
  2. Loosen left and right outer tie rod lock nuts.
    IMPORTANT: Ensure that the steering gear boots do not become twisted.
  3. Turn the inner tie rods, by flats, in direction of the desired toe change.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
  4. After adjustment, tighten the left and right outer tie rod lock nuts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the tie rod lock nuts to 70 N.m (35 lb ft).

  5. Inspect the toe angle. Re-adjust if necessary.
