Installation Procedure

    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  1. Install the cruise control module to the steering column bracket using the 3 nuts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the nuts to 6 N.m (53 lb in).

  2. Connect the cruise control rod bracket to the accelerator cable.

    CAUTION: Adjust the cruise control cable each time the cruise control module is removed or replaced. Throttle operation could be affected. Refer to the Cruise Control Module Rod Adjustment .
  3. Connect the cruise control module harness connector. Push in the connector until a click is heard and pull back to confirm a positive engagement.
  4. Adjust the cruise cable adjuster. Refer to Cruise Control Module Rod Adjustment .
