Test Description

The numbers below refer to the step numbers in the diagnostic procedure.

1. 5  - This test determines the ability of the ECM and IAC valve circuits to control the IAC valve.
2. 7  - This test determines the ability of the ECM to provide the IAC valve circuits with a ground. On a normal operating system, the test light should not flash while the IAC counts are incrementing.
