Installation Procedure

Route the shift lock control solenoid wires through the opening in the control assembly.

Insert the wire terminals into the connector body.

Position the solenoid to control assembly and install the solenoid pop rivet with a rivet gun.

Install the automatic transaxle control assembly. Refer to SHIFT CONTROL REPLACEMENT in Automatic Transaxle - 4T40-E/4T45-E (Overhaul).
Enable the SIR system. Refer to DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM in Air Bag Restraint Systems.
