Throttle Position (TP) Sensor

NOTE: TP sensor is not adjustable. For further testing procedures, perform TP sensor related diagnostic test. See appropriate SELF-DIAGNOSTICS article.
TP SENSOR VOLTAGE SPECIFICATION

(1) Voltage range is 0.15-0.55 volt with throttle closed and 4.45-4.85 volts at wide open throttle.
(2) TP sensor are 2 individual units within one housing. TP sensor 1 signal voltage range is 0.50 volt with throttle closed to 4.25-4.60 volts at wide open throttle. TP sensor 2 signal voltage range is from 4.45 volt with throttle closed to 0.70-0.17 volt at wide open throttle. TP ANGLE on scan tool is based off of TP sensor 1 only.
