Transmission Control Module Replacement

Removal Procedure





1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the TCM connectors from the TCM, noting proper connection points for installation.
3. Use the retaining tab in order to release the TCM from the under hood junction block bracket.

Installation Procedure





1. Use the retaining tab to secure the TCM when installing the TCM to the underhood junction block bracket.
2. Install the TCM harness connectors to the TCM, as noted during removal.
3. Connect the negative battery cable.
4. Program the TCM. Programming and Relearning
