Installation Procedure

Install the shift solenoid assembly from the shift control assembly.
Connect the shift solenoid assembly wiring retainers to the shift control assembly.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

Install the shift solenoid retaining screw.
Tighten: Tighten the screw to 3 N.m (27 lb in).

Install the shift indicator bulb from the shift control assembly.
Install the shift control assembly. Refer to Shift Control Replacement in Automatic Transaxle - AF23-5 or Shift Control Replacement in Automatic Transmission - VT25-E.
