Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the shift control assembly. Refer to Automatic Transmission Control Replacement in Automatic Transaxle - 4T40-E/4T45-E.
  2. Remove the shift indicator bulb from the shift control assembly.
  3. Remove the shift solenoid retaining screw.
  4. Disconnect the shift solenoid assembly wiring retainers from the shift control assembly.

  5. Remove the shift solenoid assembly from the shift control assembly.
