Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the shift control assembly. Refer to Shift Control Replacement in Automatic Transaxle - AF23-5 or Shift Control Replacement in Automatic Transmission - VT25-E.
  2. Remove the shift indicator bulb from the shift control assembly.
  3. Remove the shift solenoid retaining screw.
  4. Disconnect the shift solenoid assembly wiring retainers from the shift control assembly.
  5. Remove the shift solenoid assembly from the shift control assembly.
