Installation Procedure

  1. Install the shift solenoid assembly from the shift control assembly.
    2. Fig 1: View Of Shift Solenoid Assembly

  2. Connect the shift solenoid assembly wiring retainers to the shift control assembly.
    3. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  3. Install the shift solenoid retaining screw.

    Tighten:  Tighten the screw to 3 N.m (27 lb in).

  4. Install the shift indicator bulb from the shift control assembly.
  5. Install the shift control assembly. Refer to Floor Shift Control Replacement in Automatic Transaxle - 4T40-E/4T45-E.
