Installation Procedure

  1. Make sure the O-ring is on the CKP sensor and lubricate the O-ring with mineral oil based grease.
  2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  3. Install the CKP sensor and the attachment bolt.

    Tighten:  Tighten the crankshaft position sensor bolt to 8 N.m (71 lb in).

  4. Lower the vehicle.
  5. Connect the CKP sensor harness connector. Push the connector in until the lock position is felt, then pull back to confirm engagement.
