2: The EBCM supplies a 5-volt reference to several sensors. DTC C0870 is set if the 5-volt reference voltage is out of range.

2	Is DTC C0870 set also?	Go to DTC C0870	Go to Step 3
3	Replace the EBCM and the BPMV. Refer to Brake Pressure Modulator Valve (BPMV) Replacement and Control Module References in Computer/Integrating Systems for replacement, setup, and programming. Did you complete the replacement?	Go to Step 4	-
4	Use the scan tool in order to clear the DTCs. Operate the vehicle within normal driving conditions. Does the DTC reset?	Go to Step 1	System OK
