Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the insulator panel. Refer to Knee Bolster, Insulator, Molding Replacement - Instrument Panel in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
  2. Remove the electrical connector position assurance (CPA) clip.
    3. Fig 1: Disconnecting/Reconnecting Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor Electrical Connector

  3. Disconnect the accelerator pedal position sensor electrical connector.
  4. Remove the accelerator mounting bolts (1) from the accelerator bracket.
  5. Remove the accelerator assembly (2) from the vehicle.
