Installation Procedure

Install the BCM.
Install the BCM wire harness connectors.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

Install the BCM screws.
Tighten: Tighten the screws to 2.5 N.m (22 lb in).
Install the right console trim panel. Refer to Console Trim Panel Replacement - Right in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnect/Connect Procedure in Engine Electrical.
For a new or remanufactured BCM, program the BCM. Refer to Body Control Module (BCM) Programming/RPO Configuration .
