Installation Procedure

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

Install the camshaft position (CMP) sensor (700) and bolt (723).
Tighten: Tighten the bolt to 4 N.m (35 lb. in.).
Install the cover (244), NEW seal (243) and bolts (242).
Tighten: Tighten the bolts to 22 N.m (16 lb. ft.).

Install the left camshaft sprocket. Refer to Camshaft Drive Sprocket Replacement - Left in Engine Mechanical - 3.5L (L66).
