Mass Airflow Sensor Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Disconnect the electrical connector from the mass air flow (MAF) sensor.




2. Remove the two fasteners.
3. Remove the MAF sensor from the air cleaner housing.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the MAF sensor into the air cleaner housing.






Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice.

2. Secure the MAF sensor to the air cleaner housing with the 2 fasteners.

Tighten the 2 fasteners to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

3. Connect the MAF sensor electrical connector.
