Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the starter. Refer to Starter Motor Replacement (RPO LSJ) .
    2. Fig 1: View of Knock Sensor

  2. Disconnect the knock sensor (KS) harness connector.
  3. Remove the KS retaining bolt.
  4. Remove the KS.
