Removal Procedure

    Fig 1: Disconnecting/Connecting Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor Connector

  1. Remove the insulator panel. Refer to Knee Bolster Replacement .
  2. Remove the connector position assurance (CPA) retainer.
  3. Disconnect the instrument panel (I/P) harness electrical connector (1) from the accelerator pedal.

  4. Remove the accelerator pedal bolts.
  5. Remove the accelerator pedal (2).
