Assembly Procedure

Install the flow control spring (2) into the power steering pump housing (1).
Install the control valve assembly (3) into the power steering pump housing (1).
Lubricate the O-ring seal (4) with power steering fluid.
Install the O-ring seal (4) onto the O-ring seat on the union fitting (5).

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .

Install the O-ring union fitting (5) to the power steering pump housing (1).
Tighten: Tighten the fitting (5) to 75 N.m (55 lb ft).
