Automatic Transmission Range Selector Lever Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the front floor console. Refer to Front Floor Console Replacement (Service and Repair) .




2. Remove the range selector cable (2) from the selector lever.

* Remove the retaining clamp (1).
* Disconnect the selector lever cable from the bracket.





3. Remove the range selector lever assembly.

* Disconnect the wiring harness plug (1).
* Remove the 4 bolts (2).
* Remove the selector lever assembly.




Installation Procedure






Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice (Fastener Notice) .

1. Install the selector lever assembly.

* Insert the range selector lever assembly.

Tighten the 4 bolts to 5 N.m (44 lb in).

* Connect the wiring harness plug (1).





2. Install the selector cable (2) to the selector lever.

* Install the selector lever cable to the bracket.
* Install the retaining clamp.

3. Install the front floor console. Refer to Front Floor Console Replacement (Service and Repair) .
4. For programming procedures, refer to Control Module References (Programming and Relearning) .
