Battery Replacement

Removal Procedure

Warning: Refer to Battery Disconnect Warning (Service Precautions).





1. Disconnect the battery.

* Disconnect the negative cable.
* Disconnect the positive cable.

2. Remove the battery holder (1).
Remove the bolt.
3. Remove the battery.

Installation Procedure

1. Install the battery.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

2. Install the battery holder.

Tighten the bolt to 7 Nm (62 lb in).

3. Connect the battery.

* Connect the positive cable.
* Connect the negative cable.
