Inspection Procedure

1. Check that the power window manual UP/DOWN function operates normally.

NG: OTHER PROBLEM (See  MANUAL UP/DOWN FUNCTION DOES NOT OPERATE ON DRIVER SIDE   ) 

OK: GO TO NEXT STEP 

1. Turn the ignition switch ON.
2. Operate the driver side switch on the master switch.
3. Check the blinking pattern of the AUTO lamp as shown in Fig 2 .
   1. If pattern (1) or (3) is displayed, proceed to A.
   2. If pattern (2) is displayed, proceed to B.
   3. If the normal pattern is displayed, proceed to C.

B: Go to step   4 

C: REPLACE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER SWITCH ASSY 

A: GO TO NEXT STEP 

NG: Go to step 4 

END 

1. Disconnect the P9 master switch connector.
2. Disconnect the P10 motor connector.
3. Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connectors.

   Standard: 

   POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSY LH TERMINAL RESISTANCE
   
   

   Tester Connection	Specified Condition
   P9-19 (VCC) - P10-4 (SSRB)	Below 1 Ω
   P9-5 (PLS) - P10-5 (PLS)	Below 1 Ω
   P9-15 (PLS2) - P10-3 (PLS2)	Below 1 Ω
   P9-12 (SGND) - P10-6 (E)	Below 1 Ω
   P9-19 (VCC) - Body ground	10 kΩ or higher
   P9-5 (PLS) - Body ground	10 kΩ or higher
   P9-15 (PLS2) - Body ground	10 kΩ or higher

NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR 

OK: REPLACE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSY LH (DRIVER SIDE)
