Mass Air Flow Meter (2AZ-FE): Replacement

NOTE: When disconnecting the battery terminal, initialize the following system after the terminal is reconnected.
SYSTEM SPECIFICATIONS

System Refer To
Power window control system INITIALIZATION
Sliding roof system INITIALIZATION
  1. DISCONNECT BATTERY NEGATIVE TERMINAL 
  2. REMOVE MASS AIR FLOW METER 
    1. Disconnect the mass air flow meter connector.
    2. Remove the 2 screws, then remove the mass air flow meter.

  3. INSTALL MASS AIR FLOW METER 
    1. Install the mass air flow meter with the 2 screws.
      NOTE: Make sure that the O-ring is not cracked or jammed when installing.
    2. Connect the mass air flow meter connector.

  4. CONNECT BATTERY NEGATIVE TERMINAL 
    1. Torque: 5.4 N.m (55 kgf.cm, 48 in.lbf)
