Outer Rear View Mirror ASSY LH: Replacement

HINT:

• The installation procedures are the removal procedures in reverse order. However, only installation procedures requiring additional information are included.
• Use the same procedures for the RH side and LH side.

1. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SERVICE HOLE COVER LH (See  OVERHAUL  ) 
   1. Remove the front door lower frame bracket garnish.
   2. Remove the power window regulator master switch.
   3. Remove the front door trim board.
   4. Remove the front door inside handle.
   5. Remove the front door trim bracket.
   6. Remove the front door service hole cover.
2. REMOVE OUTER REAR VIEW MIRROR ASSY LH 
   1. Disconnect the connector.
   2. Remove the 3 nuts and mirror.
   3. Press and hold the mirror's clip, and then remove the mirror.

3. REMOVE OUTER MIRROR COVER LH 
   1. Using a screwdriver, disengage the 2 clips and 2 claws, and remove the mirror.

      HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

   2. Using a screwdriver, disengage the 9 claws and remove the mirror cover.

      HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

4. INSTALL OUTER REAR VIEW MIRROR ASSY LH 
   1. Attach the mirror's clip to the vehicle body.
   2. Install the 3 nuts.

      Torque: 8.0 N.m (82 kgf.cm, 71 in.lbf) 

   3. Connect the connector.
