Floor Shift Assembly: Reassembly

INSTALL SHIFT LOCK CONTROL ECU SUB-ASSEMBLY
1. Apply MP grease to the hatched area of the shift lever guide housing as indicated in the illustration.

2. Install the ECU with the 2 screws.

3. Install the shift lever guide housing with the shift lever lock pin and a new shift lever nut.
  NOTE:
  - Install the shift lever nut and lock pin after first engaging the 2 claws.
  - Securely engage the claws.

INSTALL POSITION INDICATOR HOUSING LOWER
1. Install the housing to the shift lock control unit.

INSTALL SHIFT LOCK RELEASE BUTTON
1. Apply MP grease to the button and spring.
2. Install the button and spring to the shift lock control unit.

INSTALL POSITION INDICATOR SLIDE COVER
1. Install the cover to the position indicator slide cover.

1. Install the cover to the shift lock control unit.

INSTALL INDICATOR LIGHT WIRE SUB-ASSEMBLY
1. Install the bulb to the indicator light wire.
2. Install the cap to the bulb.

3. Install the wire to the position indicator light guide.
  NOTE: Make sure that the indicator light wire is securely installed to the position indicator light guide.

INSTALL POSITION INDICATOR LIGHT GUIDE
1. Install the guide to the floor shift position indicator housing.
  HINT:
  
  Securely engage the claws.

INSTALL FLOOR SHIFT POSITION INDICATOR HOUSING SUB-ASSEMBLY
1. Install the housing to the shift lock control unit.
  HINT:
  
  Securely engage the 4 claws.

CONNECT INDICATOR LIGHT WIRE SUB-ASSEMBLY
1. Connect the wire connector to the floor shift.
  NOTE: Make sure that the indicator light wire is securely installed to the floor shift.
