Camshaft Timing Oil Control Valve Assembly: Installation

INSTALL CAMSHAFT TIMING OIL CONTROL VALVE ASSEMBLY
1. Apply a light coat of engine oil to a new O-ring and install it onto the camshaft timing oil control valve assembly (for intake camshaft side).
  NOTE: Do not twist the O-ring.

2. Install the camshaft timing oil control valve assembly with the bolt (for intake camshaft side).
  Torque: 10 N*m (102 kgf*cm, 7 ft.*lbf)

3. Connect the camshaft timing oil control valve assembly connector (for intake camshaft side).
4. Apply a light coat of engine oil to a new O-ring and install it onto the camshaft timing oil control valve assembly (for exhaust camshaft side).
  NOTE: Do not twist the O-ring.

5. Install the camshaft timing oil control valve assembly with the bolt (for exhaust camshaft side).
  Torque: 10 N*m (102 kgf*cm, 7 ft.*lbf)

6. Connect the camshaft timing oil control valve assembly connector (for exhaust camshaft side).
7. Install the wire harness bracket with the bolt.
  Torque: 8.4 N*m (85 kgf*cm, 74 in.*lbf)

INSPECT FOR OIL LEAK
INSTALL NO. 2 CYLINDER HEAD COVER (See INSTALLATION )
