Throttle Body: Removal

DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT (See REPLACEMENT )
REMOVE NO. 2 CYLINDER HEAD COVER (See REMOVAL )
REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP SUB - ASSEMBLY WITH HOSE
1. Disconnect the wire harness clamp and mass air flow meter connector.

2. Disconnect the No. 2 ventilation hose.

3. Loosen the hose clamp, unlock the 2 clamps and remove air cleaner cap sub-assembly with hose.

REMOVE THROTTLE BODY ASSEMBLY
1. Disconnect the throttle body connector.

2. Disconnect the water by-pass hose and the No. 2 water by-pass hose.

3. Remove the 2 bolts and 2 nuts and remove the throttle body assembly.

4. Remove the gasket from the intake manifold.
