Yaw Rate And Acceleration Sensor: Installation: Installation

  1. INSTALL YAW RATE AND ACCELERATION SENSOR 
    1. Connect the yaw rate and acceleration sensor connector.
      NOTE:

      Make sure that the yaw rate and acceleration sensor connector is connected securely.

    2. Install the yaw rate and acceleration sensor with the 2 bolts.

      Torque: 8.5 N*m (87 kgf*cm, 75 in.*lbf) 

      NOTE:
      • Do not damage the yaw rate and acceleration sensor.
      • Make sure that the yaw rate and acceleration sensor is installed securely.
      • Do not use dropped or damaged parts.
      • Keep the contact surfaces of the yaw rate and acceleration sensor and the body free of foreign matter.
      • Make sure that the yaw rate and acceleration sensor is facing the correct direction.
  2. INSTALL NO. 4 CROSSMEMBER FLOOR REINFORCEMENT SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Install the No. 4 crossmember floor reinforcement sub-assembly with the 4 bolts.

      Torque: 27 N*m (275 kgf*cm, 20 ft.*lbf) 

    2. Connect the connector.
  3. INSTALL REAR CONSOLE BOX SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to INSTALLATION

  4. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
    NOTE:

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected. Refer to INITIALIZATION .

  5. PERFORM YAW RATE AND ACCELERATION SENSOR ZERO POINT CALIBRATION 

    Refer to CALIBRATION

  6. CHECK FOR YAW RATE AND ACCELERATION SENSOR SIGNAL 

    Refer to TEST MODE PROCEDURE
