Fig.1 Nippondenso breakerless type distributor. Exploded view.:

1. Remove cap,rotor,and dust cover, FIG. 1.
2. Remove dust proof packing, pick-up coil retaining screws, and coil.
3. Remove vacuum controller snap ring, retaining screw, washer, and vacuum control assembly.
4. Remove the two screws and plates, and breaker plate from housing.
5. Drill the end of the staked straight pin.
6. Tap out the pin and remove pinion from distributor shaft.
7. Remove shaft and governor assembly.
8. Remove governor springs using a suitable pair of long nosed pliers.
9. Remove governor weight snap rings.
10. Remove signal rotor retaining screw and signal rotor from shaft.
11. Reverse procedure to install.
