Throttle Body

Throttle bodies are equipped with an idle speed adjusting screw and a fast idle solenoid. The fast idle solenoid opens an air by-pass passage during air conditioner operation to maintain engine idle speed. Throttle bodies are also equipped with dashpots to prevent engine stall during deceleration.
