Airflow Meter
The airflow meter measures the amount of air aspirated and provides signals to the MPFI control unit accordingly. All air to be taken into the combustion chamber is passed through this meter mounted on the air cleaner cover. The aspirated air applies force to the flap so its opening angle is balanced with the return pressure of the helical spring.
The flap shaft is connected to the potentiometer. Thus, the voltage signal corresponding to its angle is sent to the MPFI control unit. The airflow meter has an aspirated air thermosensor.
